Parul University – Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission to Parul University candidates must meet certain criteria that vary depending on the programme or course they are interested in. Additionally, Parul University offers admission on the basis of both merit and entrance for a wide range of courses, including UG, PG, and Ph.D. programmes.

For UG courses (such as B. Tech. and B. Arch) the university accepts JEE Main and NATA scores, respectively. However, a candidate must have qualified 10+2 level with a minimum aggregate of 45%.

For all other UG and PG courses, admission is based on merit secured in the previous qualifying exam. However, for MBBS courses, candidates must have qualified 10+2 level in the Science stream with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

    My practical and honest review of life at parul universtiy

    I chose this course because Computer Science and AI are currently in high demand, and overall the college is decent. In our university, proper placements usually start from the 7th semester, but after the 4th semester the college provides an opportunity called Impact Training during the summer vacation after the 2nd year, where top students get an early chance to work with product-based companies. As of Jan 2026, the highest placement is 60 LPA at Microsoft, while the average package is around 3.5 LPA. Most recruiters are service-based companies like Capgemini, Infosys, TCS, along with local companies and small startups. In the CSE course, there are around 3-4 thousand students, out of which roughly 200-250 students get placed after filtering. Common roles offered are Software Engineer, Web Developer, and QA Engineer. The college infrastructure is quite good. There are food courts at multiple places, playgrounds, a basketball court, and cricket nets. The entire university has free Wi-Fi with no restrictions, and canteens are spread all over the campus. Hostel facilities are okay with proper electricity and water supply, but the mess food is bad and tasteless, though manageable. Medical facilities are available at all times, and an ambulance can be called whenever needed. Faculty quality improves as semesters go on. Some professors are very knowledgeable and professional, while some just come to scroll PPTs. The college hires third-party trainers who are usually good. The course is mostly theory-based right now, so students have to put in extra effort on their own to become industry-ready. Teachers are generally available in their staff rooms. Semester exams are easy to moderate, with most questions repeated from assignments and tutorials, so around 90% students pass. One good thing about the college is the diverse crowd, with students from almost every state. College events and fests are also quite good. However, the campus is far from the main city, so there is not much to do outside. The college provides scholarships to children of army personnel and students from the SEBC category. I hope the college focuses more on practical, hands-on experience and improves outing timings for students.

    My college experience is average, here infrastructure is too good and almost every thing available here and there are events almost every month which is also a good thing but here things are too expensive which is not good, there are libraries of every faculty where every book available...
