P.D.E.A. is a parent institute and backbone of our College with a sole aim of educating even in the rural families of Pune District and to create the bright future generation. Founder member Shri. Baburaoji Gholap started P.D.E.A. on 7th September 1941. Motto is "Benefit and Happiness of the Society".Shri. Baburaoji Gholap was strongly supported by Mr. Annasaheb Awate, Mr. Shankarrao Ursal, Mr. Mamasaheb Mohol, Mr. Mamasaheb Pimple in this Good venture project.Our institute has won the "Best Institute Award" in the Year 2000 from Government of Maharashtra in the regime of former President Late. Hon. Mr. Ramkrishna More. During 1941 to 1955 P.D.E.A. started 379 schools in Pune District to promote education in rural areas. At present, Hon. Mr. Ajit Pawar has governed as the President of P.D.E.A.which runs for primary, secondary as well as professional education.Hon. Shri. Ajit Pawar-Guardian Minister of Pune and present President, P.D.E.A. & Dy. Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Finance, Planning & Energy and nephew of Union Agriculture Minister Hon. Shri. Sharad Pawar.As on today. P.D.E.A. is running Marathi, English Medium Schools, Nurseries-12, Primary-12 & Secondary Schools-55, Higher Secondary Schools-27, Junior Colleges-04, Vocational Colleges-25, Senior Colleges-09 (Arts, Commerce and Science Colleges).
