Founded in the name of spiritual guru, “Sri Sankarananda Giri Swamy” and grounded it with his blessings on a humanistic principle of empowering the down-trodden and the marginalized sections of people of this second worst drought hit district in the country through affordable education and gainful employment with no motive of Profit quintessentially epitomizes the vision of our college.To provide Student friendly and parent participation academic environment in order to plan and develop what suites and tastes them best.To arrange the programmes that promote not only the academic interests in students and parents but help them grow in holistic environment.To give the students the best employable skills leading to their employment.
It gives me immense pleasure and great privilege to place on record my deep sense of gratitude for our beloved correspondent Sri K.C. Narayana Garu and our former chairman Late Sri D.A. Netteppa Garu for their unflinching faith with the highest hope and honour in my bona-fides in choosing me the principal of the college on 1st November, 2022.
Equally, I am grateful to the former secretary Late Dr.R.V. Naidu Garu and former Treasurer Late M. Thimmaiah Garu for their outstanding support to my candidature as Principal. Even more grateful am I to the present chairman of our college Sri T. Rangaiah Garu for his candid outreach with affection. Never in the least are my regards to the other honorable members of our college committee for their tacit elief and high expectations in my credentials.
I feel greatly honoured and proud of being the head of the College that has 35 long years of eventful history, marching a ahead steadily and solidly with consistent academic achievements in terms of both quality and quantity, which I feel has become possible due to the policy flexibility of the management and the dedicated services of the staff with their fairly long innings of academic experience. It is at this peak of time, when the college has achieved commendable academic growth with adequate infra structure developed by my predecessor Mr. M.C. Balaiah, I deem it my bounden responsibility to carry forward its fair legacy to the succeeding generations of its students by imparting and inculcating basic human values and principles.Expecting strength and cooperation in large measure from all the honourable fraternity in taking the college to the great heights of its glory by setting universally acceptable standards in the years to come.
