Q. What is the procedure to obtain an application form for admission?

A. Candidates must apply through the online admission portal on the official website. Candidates are advised to check their eligibility criteria and other important details in the Application Guide available on the website of SSSIHL Deemed University.

A. Eligibility criteria differ from Programme to Programme and candidates need to fulfil the minimum educational qualifications to get eligible for appearing in the Entrance Test conducted by SSSIHL. For details candidates need to visit SSSIHL Admission Prospectus 20222 – UG, PG, PP Programmes.

Q. How to know if a candidate is qualified to attend the Entrance Test?

A. Application of a candidate received online shall be processed by the Office of Admissions of SSSIHL. Once the candidate meets the preliminary eligibility criteria, his/her name shall be included in the list of applicants to take the admission test.  Such admission list shall be published on the official website and the Hall Ticket for the Admission Test shall be sent to the candidate.

Q. When the Admission Tests and Interviews shall be conducted and where?

A. The Test, viva, GD, and other tests and interviews will be conducted ONLINE. Candidates need to visit the Dates and Deadlines on the official website for the schedule.

Q. What is the composition of the Question Paper of the Entrance Test conducted by SSSIHL?

A. The Entrance Test shall comprise General English in MCQs, short answer and essay-type of questions, which may vary from Programme to Programme. Candidates are also required to appear for a subject-related test, which comprises of multiple-choice in nature.  Candidates need to download the Model Test Papers for various admission Tests on the Admission Downloads page.

Q. What is the selection procedure for admissions?

A. Post-conduct of Written tests, candidates are short-listed for a Personal Interview based on their performance in General English and the total aggregate of the qualifying examination on arriving at the cut-off point.  The weightage of the Written Test is 70% and Written Test and Interview 30%, which might vary from Programme to Programme. Provisional admission shall be accorded to the candidates, based on their rank in the final marks list.

SSSIHL Deemed to be University offers free education to all the finally selected students at all levels. Candidates are required to meet the charges towards food and Hostel expenses and a refundable caution deposit.  Such nominal charges shall be communicated to the student at the final stage of selection.
