The field of health care is also more diversified, so nurses can choose what area they would like to practice, and tailor their education to that field.Government College of Nursing, Thrissur is one of the prime institutions of Nursing Education in Kerala, established in the year 2006 with the twin objective of excellence in Nursing education and manpower development. The college offers BSc Nursing and MSc Nursing programmes. The institution is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council and is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences. The college is recognized as Research Centre of Kerala University of Health Sciences since 2016. During the current academic year (2021- 2022) 16th batch BSc Nursing and 12th batch MSc Nursing students are admitted.Keltron Knowledge Centres are Centres of Excellence in Information Technology created with the specific intention of bridging the huge gap between Academic Institutions and the Industry. These Centres churn out batches of industry-ready professionals every year who are prepped up to take on jobs the moment they are inducted. The career-oriented courses are delivered through Keltron Knowledge Centres. Keltron, being a part of the industry, has the right feel of the requirements of the industry and has used this knowledge in designing courses that suit the industry requirements. We are in the process of equipping our Knowledge Centres to provide Knowledge Services in all the relevant fields. Our mission is to set a higher benchmark in IT, ITeS & Computer Education segment, provide quality education and emerge as a Centre of Excellence in IT Education & Knowledge Services arena. We offer a wide range of Industry Recognized Certificate, Diploma, Post-Graduate Diploma & Kerala University IDE Courses through our Knowledge Centres across Kerala.
