Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology (IIST) – Scholarships

The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) offers financial assistance to its B. Tech students to cover their tuition fees, hostel charges, and medical expenses.

This financial assistance package is funded by the Department of Space and is provided once a semester. Additionally, a book allowance of INR 3000/- is also given per semester.

However, if a student fails to secure a minimum Grade Point Average of 7.5 they will have to pay all expenses except tuition and amenity fees.

Furthermore, successful students meeting prescribed criteria are absorbed into ISRO as scientists, and based on the review, the fellowship amount may be enhanced to INR 35000/- per month.
