This college is centrally funded so it is one of the good and affordable option after IITs, NITs and IIITs with its beautiful and well maintained campus.It offers various courses in Diploma, BTech and MTech. In BTech course its course curriculum is upto mark and provides theoretical as well as practical knowledge. But It lags very much behind in placements and research opportunities.

Campus Facilities: College campus is too good. It provides almost 350 acres of large campus with all the facilities needed for students. Infrastructure is also up to mark. Classrooms are also properly maintained and provided with technical assistances. Library and e-library is also maintained to give good standard of study environment. Banks facilities are also provided inside the campus of the college. One thing in which our college ligs behind is the connectivity to the main city as it is the little bit remote area of Sangrur district of Punjab.

Campus Life: Campus life of our college SLIET is quite vibrant.Different types of fests like Madhuram, Technical and Food Fest occur in different months offering different types of exposure, entertainment, creativity and enthusiasm.

Faculty: Faculties are up to mark in our college. Some professors are of very high standards, whereas some faculty are of moderate level. Overall, it's fine but it lags behind in industry exposure.

Placements: College offers mediocre level of opportunity in internships and job opportunities. Its highest package is around 20-22lakh whereas average package lies around 4-5 lakh.
