Government Arts and Science college Kozhinjampara is a recently established college in response to the constant demands of the people of the backward border areas of Kerala - Tamil Nadu. The college was established in the year 2005, and ever since, it has been trying its level best to remedy the educational problems of the locality. The inhabitants of this place by and large are Tamil speaking people.There is a mixture of girls from forward and backward communities, from SC/ST’s, OEC,OBC’s,PH,TLM and BPL (EBFC) sections of the society.The college Research Committee supervises the Research activities of the students as well as the teachers. Since U.G.C recognition has not been received by the college, the projects are self financed.
