Vellore institute of technology (VIT) Vellore is a private deemed-to-be university that was established in 1956 and recognized as an Institution of Eminence (IoE). Ranked by NAAC with A ++ Accreditation, VIT Vellore has a steady pattern of academic excellence, Ranking 11th in Engineering and 10th in the University category in NIRF 2024.

VIT University Admission 2026 Application window is currently open. VIT University Vellore supports admissions to its undergraduate engineering programs through the VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance exam) and JEE. The academic program is designed based on the Fully Flexible Credit System (FFCS) allowing students to pursue interdisciplinary courses of VIT University Courses in Computer Science, Biotechnology and Electronics under the guidance of a research-oriented faculty.

The Career Development Centre (CDC) of the university is in charge of the annual VIT University Placements drive that is known for its scale and diverse recruiters. MBA Management Rs. 5,98,000.00 A bachelors’ degree of minimum 3-Years after 10+2 examination, from a recognized board. CAT, GMAT, MAT, XAT
BBA Management Rs. 1,62,000.00 10+2 in any stream from a recognised university.
BA LLB Integrated Law - 10+2 & Qualify entrance exams like LSAT, CLAT, MH CET, etc.
BBA LLB Integrated Law - Passed 10+2 from a recognized board in any of the Commerce or Arts stream with securing minimum of 45% marks.
LLM Law - Bachelor's degree in the stream of law or social science with minimum aggregate as per the institute's requirement.
Integrated MSc Computers - Candidates must have passed Class XII from a recognised board. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English must be subjects studied in Class XII.

it has been 8 months in vit for me and it is although a decent college but it doesnot stand upon the hype which is given to it. It literally feels like we are in school and not in college, warden comes for attendance every night at 9pm and if you are not present then he will put a fine upon you but the faculty and academic building and also hostels are pretty decent according to the hype but the only disadvantage is college is way too overcrowded and you will fell it at every point of time.
