As per my opinion Mtech from HBTU is not worth doing whatever be your branch. If you are going to pursue Mtech then there might be many reasons. But major are that either you want a Mtech degree and knowledge of your field and also stipends is a reason or you want to pursue phd after Mtech if it is your plan. In both cases I would say big no for Mtech.

Campus Facilities: College campus is too old now, yes they are trying to improve college infrastructure, but I will passout then may some sort of infrasture can be remade, Campus has its own two canteens, food quality of some food items is quite good, but some may not. Classrooms are good they are trying to make classes more attractive by the use of digital screens.

Campus Life: Campus life in Harcourt Butler technical university is good, one thing is that you won't be able to explore as much compared to other government college, because of its locality. Fests happen, and we enjoy a lot, the campus life was so good in terms of late night out, chai ki tapri and all that.

Faculty: One thing about Harcourt butler technical university is, some branch faculty are so supportive even for my branch too, I am happy to get a chance to learn from these people.. One of our faculty, he is currently head of department Mr. Alakh sir, you would be grateful to learn from them.

Placements: For Mtech there are no separate placements. Although they will allow Mtech students in some companies mainly in the IT sector, there are negligible placements regarding Mtech students. however highest package offered this time was inr 17.5LPA and total students placed was 400.

Campus/Events:

Start Up Incubator: Atal Incubation hub at HBTU kanpur has developed the incubation facility in campus. In 2018, the Atal Incubation Hub at Hbtu kanpur was established to achieve AIM goals.
