AP EAPCET 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

AP EAPCET 2026 (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy Common Entrance Test) mandates clear eligibility standards to ensure that aspirants possess the necessary academic background, age, and domicile status for undergraduate programs in Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy offered by colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Candidates must strictly fulfil each parameter to participate in the entrance test and subsequent admissions.

Nationality and Domicile:

  • The applicant must be an Indian national. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders are also eligible.
  • Candidates must belong to Andhra Pradesh or Telangana and satisfy the local/non-local status guidelines defined by the state for educational admissions.

  • Engineering and Pharmacy aspirants must complete 16 years by December 31, 2026.
  • Agriculture and allied streams require a minimum age of 17 years by the same date, with an upper limit of 22 years (General/OBC) and 25 years (SC/ST).

Academic Qualifications:

  • For Engineering: Candidates should have passed or be appearing in the final year of 10+2/intermediate with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. A diploma in Engineering recognized by AP/Telangana’s Board of Technical Education is also acceptable.
  • For Agriculture & Allied: Passed or appearing in 10+2/intermediate with Physical/ Biological Sciences, Agriculture, or other relevant vocational subjects according to the stream.
  • For Pharmacy: Passed or appearing in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and either Mathematics or Biology; or hold a recognized diploma in Pharmacy.
