The GITAM Admission Test (GITAM GAT) 2024 is held in multiple phases, with the last two phases – Phase 6 and Phase 7 to be conducted on 16^th June 2024 (Phase 6) and 30^th June 2024 (Phase 7). The registration process for all the phases will begin on 27^th October 2023 which will continue till 14^th June 2024 (Phase 6) and the registration process for Phase 7 will continue till 28^th June 2024. This exam is conducted by the GITAM University and an aspirant can appear for this exam multiple times a year. Candidates appearing for the GITAM GAT 2024 are required to fulfill certain eligibility criteria that are listed below.

• For UG Courses: Candidates must have completed or be appearing for the final year of their 10+2 examination with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.

• For PG Courses: Candidates must have a relevant bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA.

GITAM GAT 2024 – Registration/Application Process

The registration and application process will be conducted in both online and offline mode. The process will begin from 27^th October 2023 for all the phases and it will continue till 14^th June 2024 (Phase 6) and 28^th June 2024 (Phase 7).

Online mode:

Step – 1: Candidates are required to visit the official website – https://gat.gitam.edu and must register on the themselves.

Step – 2: Candidates are then required to fill out the online application form with personal, academic, and contact details. Upload scanned copies of necessary documents like photographs and signatures.

Step – 3: Pay the application fee of INR 1,200/- online through net banking, credit card, or debit card.

Offline mode: Candidates can visit the GITAM University campus (Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Bengaluru and GIMSR) and follow the instructions provided from the admission office.

GITAM GAT 2024 – Availing of Admit Card

Candidates appearing for the GITAM 2024 will be able to download their admit cards online. These admit cards will be available in two to three days before the exams are held.

GITAM GAT 2024 – Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for GITAM GAT 2024 is based on online mode i.e. computer-based test (CBT). The duration of this exam can vary from 1 to 2 hours depending on selected courses.

This exam will be divided into 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology (depending on the course). There will be a total of 100 Multiple-Choice questions (MCQs) which are to be solved within the given period of time.

Marks: Each correct answer will be awarded with 4 marks, and each incorrect answer will be deducted with 1 mark.

GITAM GAT 2024 – Results

The GITAM GAT 2024 results will be announced on the official website on 16^th June 2024 for Phase 6 and on 1^st July 2024 for Phase 7. Candidates can check their scores and ranks by logging into their accounts.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for the counseling process based on their ranks. The counseling process includes document verification, seat allocation, and payment of the admission fee.
