Financial Times MBA Rankings for 2018 are out and Indian institutes have managed to keep their spots, but just. The top Indian management school, Indian School of Business has slipped to 28th rank this year. IIM Ahmedabad, the most famous and also the top-ranked management school in India as per NIRF rankings 2017 has slipped to the 31st position from last year's 29. The top slots have been picked by Stanford Graduate Business School, US, INSEAD, Paris/ Singapore and Wharton Business School, US, respectively.
The other Indian B-schools in the list of top 100 have seen a massive jump in the rankings, offsetting the minor slips at the top. IIM Calcutta has taken a large jump from last year's 95th position to this years' impressive 78th rank. IIM Bangalore has also shown a rise and jumped to 35th rank from its last year's 49th position. The top 10 ranks, however, are dominated by US Universities with only three slots. Of the non-US universities, INSEAD of Paris/Singapore is at number 2, London Business School is at 4 and CEIBS of China has made a mark in top 10 at number 8.
