IBS Selection Briefings 2026

The IBS Selection Briefings started on January 10th, successfully completed across 70+ cities in India serving as a bridge between aspiring management professionals and their choice of B-School, IBS. Designed as an informative, interactive, and introductory platform, these sessions were attended by candidates who have applied to IBS and their parents to engage directly with the institution before the formal selection process begins. By focusing on the core pillars of IBS’s excellence in management education, the briefings provided a comprehensive roadmap for the journey ahead. We understand that choosing a business school is a very important decision; therefore, a primary objective was to address the concerns of parents regarding their children’s future career trajectories. Through transparent discussions, we highlighted the extensive support systems within IBS—ranging from dedicated mentorship 14-week internship and a support system for placements—ensuring that the parents and candidates feel confident in their career development and in reaching their desired career.

We took the opportunity to congratulate the IBS scholarship recipients and National Mock Test winners, presenting them with their well-deserved prize money and certificates of accomplishment. IBS offered 500 scholarships of Rs 2 lakh each to the top scorers in the IBSAT 2025 Test. The 100 top scorers among the National Mock Test winners received their prizes: a 1st prize of Rs 1 lakh, a 2nd prize of Rs 50,000, and a 3rd prize of Rs 25,000, while the remaining 97 winners received Rs 5,000 each. This highlights their individual performance and high standard of talent IBS attracts now. The briefings featured speakers including campus heads, senior faculty members, and successful alumni. While the campus heads outlined the institutional vision, the faculty explained the rigorous curriculum focused on case-study-based methods and modern labs like SAP and Bloomberg. The alumni provided the most compelling evidence of our impact; they shared personal stories of how IBS transformed their professional lives, offering candidates a glimpse into the vast networking opportunities with 75,000+ alumni.

As we look forward to the upcoming final steps, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the candidates and parents who participated so enthusiastically in these sessions. The IBS Selection Process is scheduled to take place from February 14th to 22nd at the IBS Hyderabad campus. This consists of micro-presentations and personal interviews designed to select the candidates for their desired IBS campus. The candidates should begin planning their travel to Hyderabad early to keep in mind the last-minute price increases in travel. If you missed the selection briefing in your city and need support before attending the selection process, please reach out to your designated IBS Information Officer at your nearest IBS Information Office or contact us on our toll-free number 1800 425 55 66 77. For specific administrative requests, such as rescheduling your selection process dates, please submit a formal email to ibsat@ibsindia.org.
