Board of Secondary Education Manipur

The Board of Secondary Education, Manipur was established by an Act of the Manipur Legislative Assembly in 1972. By the amendment of the Act in 2004, besides the academic activities, the prescription of conditions for granting recognition of standards I and VIII were also entrusted to the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur. The Board conducts public examinations at the end of class X for the courses studied in class X only. The Board does not conduct any other public examination; however, a common question examination at the end of class VIII will be held w.e.f. the academic session 2025-2026 to maintain uniformity, standards, and quality. The schools themselves will conduct the examination, and check the answer scripts. However, the tabulation of marks is to be sent up to the Board and Directorate of Education (Schools), Government of Manipur.

Students who are appearing for the Manipur HSLC exams this year are anxious about the Manipur board exam results. The BSEM officially conducts the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Class 10th exams during March and April. Students awaiting BSEM results are advised to keep visiting this page for regular updates.
