Tamil Nadu Directorate of technical education is the department of technical education in Tamil Nadu state. There are about 464 Polytechnic colleges affiliated with the TNDTE. All these offer Diploma courses, Post Diploma courses, and Certificate courses on various branches of studies in Engineering and Technology.

The candidates who completed the class 10th are eligible for admission to Polytechnic Colleges. The Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE) is also catering to the hotel industry's needs and offering 3 years of Hotel Management and Catering diplomas in their 10 colleges. Candidates who have passed the 12th class examination can take an admission to the Hotel Management and Catering programs. TNDTE Result 2025 will be declared by the commission.
