Directorate of Training and Technical Education, New Delhi

The Directorate of Training and Technical Education is entrusted with the responsibility of providing trained technical manpower for the technological upgradation of industrial production, services, productivity, and innovation, contributing to the planned growth of the country's economy. With a view to achieving the above objective, Department strives for systematic planning, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs and policies relating to technical/vocational education.

To achieve this, the department has been making and implementing many policies & plans that will revolutionize the state of vocational education/ skill development in Delhi. The Board of Technical Education (BTE) of Delhi comes under the DTTE and its function is to ensure that the quality of diploma-level technical education remains the best. It conducts the exam, declares results, awards certificates, and affiliated the private technical institutes.
