National Institute of Ayurveda, Deemed to be University (De novo) is an apex autonomous Institute under the aegis of Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. NIA was conferred the Deemed to be University status under De novo category and was dedicated to the Nation by the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi on 13th Novemeber 2020 ( 5th Ayurveda Day).

NIA is the first Central Government funded Institute to be declared as Deemed to be University in the field of Ayush. This feather in cap achievement came as a recognition of NIA having 175 years of legacy and for promoting the growth and development of Ayurveda as a model Institute with highes standards of Teaching, Training, Research, and Patient Care with a scientific outlook to the knowledge of Ayurvedic System of Healthcare.

NIA currently offers Academic Programmes in all levels - Undergraduate(BAMS), Post Graduate (MD/MS in Ayurveda), Post Doctoral (PhD in Ayurveda), Diploma (DAN&P). Besides, NIA is the only institute in Ayurveda segment to offer 6 Interdisciplinary M.Sc. courses. NIA also runs many certificate and short term courses related to Ayurveda. NIA has a 260 bedded NABH accredited Hospital to offer best quality OPD and IPD services to the public. The hospital is equipped with state of art Panchakarma Centre, modern OTs, Ventilator supported Emergency Care Beds, GMP Certified Pharmacy and Patholab.

BAMS Medical Rs. 1,37,000.00 To be eligible for the BAMS course in India, you must have passed your 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects, scoring a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved categories) in these subjects. You also need to have completed 17 years of age by December 31st of the admission year and successfully qualify the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). NEET UG
Ph.D Medical Rs. 1,32,000.00 To be eligible for a PhD in Medicine, you typically need a postgraduate degree like an MD or MS, or a Master's in a related scientific or health field, with at least a 55% aggregate score (50% for reserved categories) from a recognized university. You must also typically pass a university or national-level entrance exam and may need to present a research proposal and undergo an interview to be admitted.
M.Sc. Medical - To be eligible for an M.Sc. (Master of Science), you generally need a bachelor's degree in a relevant science, mathematics, or engineering discipline, with a minimum aggregate of 50-60% marks, though requirements vary by institution. You may also need to pass an entrance exam and meet specific subject requirements for your chosen M.Sc. specialization.
MD Medical - To be eligible for an MD program, you must have an MBBS degree from a recognized medical college and be qualified with a passing score on the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET-PG). Additionally, a permanent registration from a State Medical Council is required, and you must have completed the compulsory rotating internship.
MS Medical - Eligibility for an MS degree generally requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, a minimum undergraduate percentage (often 50-60%), and entrance exam scores like GATE or, for international programs, TOEFL/IELTS.
