COMEDK UGET 2026 COUNSELLING

COMEDK UGET  2026 COUNSELING

The COMEDK UGET 2026 counseling will be conducted online by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK). The COMEDK counseling is only open to those who qualify the COMEDK UGET exam. Registration, choice-filling, seat assignment, decision-making, and reporting to the designated institution are some of the steps required to fulfil during the counselling process. For admission to more over 20,000 engineering seats at 148 participating universities, the authority administers the COMEDK UGET counseling. The allocation of COMEDK seats in 2026 will be determined by the candidate's qualifications, preferences, and available seats.

COMEDK UGET counseling is offered in four rounds in which candidates will be able to take part in the COMEDK 2026 counseling provided they register and complete the document verification. Eligibility, selections made, applicant merit, and seat availability will put an impact on a candidate's ability to compete in the next rounds. After all rounds of ordinary counselling are finished, candidates who passed the PU Board supplementary test or 10+2 would be eligible for an exclusive round of COMEDK counselling for the remaining seats.

COMEDK UGET Counselling Process Overview

The counselling is conducted entirely online, with physical reporting required only at the final stage of college admission. Key steps include:

  1. Registration: Candidates pay a non-refundable fee of INR 2,000.
  2. Document Verification: Only candidates with "Document Approved" status are eligible to proceed.
  3. Choice Filling: Candidates prioritize their preferred colleges and branches. A "Mock Round" is provided to help candidates gauge potential allotments before the binding rounds.
  4. Seat Allotment: Based on rank, choices, and seat availability, results are published for each round.
  5. Decision Making & Reporting: Allotted candidates must confirm their choice (e.g., Accept & Freeze, or Upgrade) and pay the academic fee before physically reporting to the allotted college.
