How to Apply Online

1) Visit the official website and pay the application fee.

2) Click on “Application Form” and enter the details of fee payment.

3) Proceed to the Application form and fill the personal and academic details.

AP EAMCET 2020 Eligibility

1) Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.

2) Candidates should belong to the state of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh.

3) The local/non-local status of the candidate should satisfy the requirements of admission.

4) Diploma appearing/passing candidates can also apply.

5) For Engineering Courses, candidates should pass 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as subjects.

6) For Medical Courses, candidates should pass 10+2 or equivalent with Biology/Biotechnology, Physics and Chemistry as subjects.

7) For BAMS/BHMS/BNYS courses, candidates should pass 10+2 or equivalent with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as subjects.

1) There are two sessions

10:00 AM to 01:00 PM: Engineering

02:30 PM to 05:30 PM: Agricultural & Medical


3) The examination will be conducted in Online Mode: Computer Based Test.

4) All questions are of objective type only and each question carries 1 mark.

5) The question paper contains questions in English and Telugu medium.

6) Total no. of questions in the question paper is 160 with a total of 160 marks.

7) Duration of the exam is 3 hours

The syllabus will be composed of different subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology (Zoology, Botany) at the level of 12th or equivalent exam conducted by Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh.

Candidate can download the Admit Card from the official website of AP EAMCET 2020. Hall tickets will be available from in the month of April 2020. Hall tickets will contain information regarding candidate and test date, time and venue. Candidate has to download the Hall Ticket from the website only.

AP EAMCET 2020 Qualifying Marks

The qualifying percentage of marks is 25% of the maximum marks. For SC/ST candidates, no minimum qualifying mark is prescribed. But their admission will be limited to the extent of seats reserved for such categories.


The ranking will be given by taking 75% weightage to the marks secured in AP EAMCET and 25% weightage to the marks secured in the relevant group subjects namely Mathematics or Biology, Physics, Chemistry of the qualifying examination into consideration.

AP EAMCET 2020 Results

AP EAMCET 2020 results are expected to release in last week of May 2020. Score/Rank card will be available after the release of results. Candidates can check and download the results and rank card from AP EAMCET official website.

AP EAMCET 2020 Counselling

Candidates will be called rank-wise for AP EAMCET Counselling procedure. Candidates need to register and pay non-refundable counselling fee. There will be certificate verification and candidates have to submit the Xerox copy of certificates. After the counselling procedure, all candidates have to choose the colleges through web option

AP EAMCET 2020 General Instructions

1) The Candidates, who wish to apply for AP EAMCET, must apply through online only.

2) It is advised to visit your allotted Examination Centre well before so that you can take examination tension-free.

3) The candidate will not be allowed to take the exam even if late by 1 minute.

 4) The question paper contains questions in English and Telugu medium.

5) Affix a recent colour photograph (3.5cms x 3.5cms) in the box provided (Bottom – Left side) on the “FILLED IN ONLINE APPLICATION FORM and get it attested by a Gazetted Officer / Principal of the college where studied.

6) The candidate has to submit the “FILLED IN ONLINE APPLICATION FORM” to the Invigilator in the Examination Hall on the day of the exam.

7) The candidate belonging to SC / ST category has to submit the attested photocopy of the “CASTE CERTIFICATE” along with the “FILLED IN ONLINE APPLICATION FORM” to the Invigilator on the day of the AP EAMCET-2020 exams in the Examination Hall, in case, the Application number of his/her Caste Certificate is not provided at the time of the Online submission of the Application.

8) Candidate has to select only one HELPLINE CENTRE (HLC) of his/her choice for Certificate Verification and Option Entry at the time of counselling after the declaration of results for admission into professional courses. List of HELPLINE CENTRES will be given in Instruction Booklet.
