Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT)  is a deemed university located in Cochin, Kerala, India. The educational university was established in the year 1971. It is accredited by National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC) with grade ‘A’. The university recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC), Approved by India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) has at present 29 Departments of study and research offering Graduate and Post Graduate programmes across a wide spectrum of disciplines in frontier areas of Engineering, Science, Technology, Humanities, Law & Management. During the last four decades of its existence, CUSAT has registered steady growth and has earned recognition as one of the highly reputed and internationally acclaimed Indian Universities. The University has academic links and exchange programmes with several institutions across the globe. The computerised Central Library is a source of information for CUSAT students and academics. The Computer Center provides free internet access to the students. The campus hosts the buildings of the departments. The SOE campus has divisions of engineering and corresponding labs and workshops.
