Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is a national level entrance test conducted on a rotational basis by ten Central universities and Dr B R Ambedkar School of Economics (BASE) for admission into UG, PG, and PhD courses offered in CUCET Participating Universities. CUCET 2019 is organised by Central University of Rajasthan. CUCET 2019 exam is Conducted at various centres all over India.

CUCET 2019 Application Form

The Application Form for CUCET 2019 will be available from the first week of March 2019. The application must be filled in online and submitted along with fees before the first week of April 2019.

Here are some of the steps that a candidate must follow:

  • Visit the official portal of CUCET 2019 and go to 'Apply'
  • Select the level of program – UG, PG, or research
  • Fill in your personal details like name, email address, phone number, address, date of birth, and password.
  • You will receive a confirmation message and mail on your registered mobile number and email address respectively.
  • Now, you will have to fill in the online application form for CUCET 2019
  • Upload your photo and signature. Go through the guidelines to upload your signature and photograph before filling the application.
  • You can register for up to three courses in the selected program in each university. An add-on fee may be applied in case you want to apply additional (extra) course(s).
  • Make payment after checking all the filled details

CUCET Eligibility Criteria 2019



Central University of Jammu:


Computer Science & Technology:

B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology or MCA or M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT with minimum 60% marks at their graduation Level (55% for SC/ST/PwD category candidates However, Preference shall be granted to the candidates with valid GATE score.

Central University of Kashmir:

B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering/ Information Technology  Information Technology/Electronics and communication Engineering through regular course of studies from an UGC/AICTE approved Institute with minimum 55 %  marks (50 marks for ST/SC/PWD) in the degree examination or equivalent CGPA or M.Sc. IT/MCA through regular courses of studies from an UGC/AICTE approved Institute with minimum 55% marks (50% marks forSC/ST/PWD)in the degree level examination or equivalent CGPA at both the levels. Candidates should have valid GATE score. However in case of non-availability of aspirants with valid GATE score, the no-GATE score aspirants may also be considered for admission.

Central University of Punjab:

·         B.Tech./B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering

·         Computer Science & Technology/ Information Technology/Electronics/Electronics

Computer Science & Technology:

Communication from a recognised Indian or Foreign

Cyber Security):

University with at least 55% marks. Preference shall be given to Candidates with Valid GATE Score.

Food Technology:

B.Tech./B.E. Degree in Dairy Technology/ Food Technology/ Food Processing Technology/Food Engineering/ Agriculture Engineering/ Chemical Engineering with at least 55% marks or equivalent in Aggregate

Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ):

M.Sc. Physics/ Chemistry/ Applied Physics/ Applied Chemistry/ Material Science/ Nano Science/ Nano

Material Science:

Technology/ B.E./ B.Tech (Except Computer Science/ IT) With minimum 60% marks in the qualifying examination for General Category, 55% marks for OBC Category and 50% marks for SC/ST Category candidates. The candidates must not have completed 30 years of age as on 01-07-2019.

CUCET 2019 Exam Pattern

Type of Question: Multiple Choice Questions

Parts: The exam will be conducted in two parts, i.e. Part A and Part B.

Part-A: This section contains topics from English language, general awareness, mathematical aptitude and analytical skills.

Part-B: This part has been divided into three sections and consists of total 75 MCQs from the domain knowledge.

Duration: The exam duration will be 2 hours.

Exam Mode: The exam will be organized through offline mode.

Marking Scheme: Three marks will be given for each correct answer.

Negative Marking: One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Pattern: The exam will be conducted in OMR pattern.

CUCET 2019 Syllabus

The syllabus for CUCET exam will vary according to the courses selected by the students. The syllabus has been divided into two parts as Part A and Part B. Part A will contain topics from general awareness, mathematical aptitude, English language and analytical skills. Part B will have topics from the domain or courses selected by the students.

CUCET 2019 Admit Card

Successfully registered candidates will be able to download the CUCET Hall Ticket 2019 from the first week of May 2019. It is mandatory to provide the admit card at the exam centre. The admit card will be available through the website.

Steps to download CUCET 2019 Admit Card

  • Go to the CUCET website
  • Click on the message “Admit cards for CUCET-2019 has been uploaded, please click here to download”
  • Enter application number, password, and verification code
  • Click submit and download the card.

CUCET 2019 Result

Candidates can expect CUCET 2019 Results in the month of June. Students can check their result online on the official website of CUCET. Follow the below steps to check and download your exam result.

  • Go to the official website of CUCET 2019
  • Click on the ‘Download the CUCET Result 2019' link
  • Enter details such as registration number, password, and date of birth.
  • Click submit
  • Result will be displayed on the screen
  • Print your scorecard for future references.

CUCET Counselling 2019

The counselling process will be commenced after the release of the merit list. Students can participate in the counselling process as per their rank in the merit list. During the counselling process, candidates have to fill their preferences of colleges & course.
