Details Provided in the Scorecard

  • Composite CEED score and overall All India Rank (AIR)
  • Category-wise rank and qualifying status
  • Validity: The CEED 2027 scorecard is valid for one year from the date of result declaration. Qualifying CEED does not guarantee admission; it certifies eligibility to apply to participating institutes.

Result Preparation and Merit List Process

The final CEED score and merit rank are calculated using a multi-step evaluation mechanism:

  • Cutoff Threshold: Part B booklets of only those candidates who clear the category-specific Part A cutoffs are evaluated.
  • Merit List: Merit lists (both general and category-wise) are generated using the final weighted score.
  • No Centralized Counselling: There is no common or centralized seat allocation authority for CEED. Each participating institute (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IISc Bangalore, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, etc.) conducts its own independent admission process.

What’s Next After CEED Results?

  • Download & Preserve Scorecard: Keep multiple printed copies and digital backups of your scorecard for institute applications.
  • Apply Individually: Submit separate applications to each target institute (IITs, IISc, IIITDM, etc.) according to their prospective application deadlines.
  • Secondary Rounds: Shortlisted candidates based on CEED scores will be invited by individual institutes for subsequent selection stages, such as Studio Tests, Portfolio Reviews, and Personal Interviews (PI).
