The CEED (Common Entrance Examination for Design) 2027 marks will be an important milestone for aspirants applying to M.Des and Ph.D. design programs across India’s premier institutes, including IITs and IISc. Knowing how and when CEED 2027 results will be released—plus understanding the evaluation process, scorecard details, and key next steps—is crucial for all candidates eyeing postgraduate design admissions in 2027.
Note on Scorecard Availability: Candidates can download the official scorecard from March 2027 until July 2027. After this date, the download link on the portal will be deactivated, and no soft copy requests will be entertained.
The final CEED score and merit rank are calculated using a multi-step evaluation mechanism:
Q1. When will the CEED 2027 results be announced?
Ans. The CEED 2027 results are expected to be declared online in the first week of March 2027 on the official website (ceed.iitb.ac.in).
Q2. How can candidates download the CEED 2027 scorecard?
Ans. Candidates can log in to the portal at ceed.iitb.ac.in using their registered email ID and password to download their digital scorecard. The download window remains open until July 2027.
Q3. What is the validity period of the CEED 2027 scorecard?
Ans. The scorecard is valid for one year from the date of result declaration. It can be used for admissions to postgraduate design programs starting in the 2027–2028 academic session.
Q4. Does qualifying CEED guarantee admission to M.Des programs?
Ans. No. CEED qualification makes a candidate eligible to apply to participating institutes. Admission is granted based on the candidate's performance in institute-specific selection procedures, which may include portfolio evaluation, written tests, and personal interviews.
Q5. How is the final CEED 2027 score calculated?
Ans. The final score is computed by combining 25% weightage from Part A and 75% weightage from Part B. Part B is evaluated only for candidates who clear the Part A qualification threshold.
