The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is offering scholarship to 1000 differently-abled students who can show brilliance in and want to pursue technical education. It is an attempt to give every young student who is disabled, the opportunity to study further and to lead a successful and dignified future. The students must be a student of graduation course under AICTE.
The last date to submit application is November 30.
Eligibility criteria:
Interested candidates must be in the 1st year of any diploma or degree course recognised by AICTE
Further, the family income must be less than 8 lakh per annum
For this scholarship, specially-abled students with 40 per cent disability can apply
Reward:
All the selected candidates will get up to Rs 30,000 as tuition fee and Rs 2,000 per month for 10 months as contingency allowance.
Further, Rs 30,000 will also be given for the purchase of books, equipment, software, laptop, desktop, vehicle, fee paid towards competitive examination applications form, exam, specific equipment, software's for visually impaired, speech and hearing disabled.
