All Set for ECET Tomorrow in State

ECET Convenor professor CH Saibabu has said that arrangements were made to conduct the examination on May 10th from 10 am to 1 pm across the state. Candidates will not be allowed into the examination hall if they are late by even one minute, he said.

As many as 52,027 candidates are expected to write the examination this year at 91 centres in the state. The OMR answer sheets will not be valuated if a candidate writes anything irrelevant.

Carrying of calculators, log tables, electronic gadgets and loose sheets into the examination hall is prohibited. Usage of eraser or whitener is also not allowed, he said. The question paper booklet can be retained by the candidate.

Candidates who had applied for the examination can download admit cards from the official ECET 2014 website. Exam pattern for the engineering course is: Mathematics 50 marks, Physics 25 marks, Chemistry 25 marks, Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/ Electronics & Communications/Mining/Metallurgy/Chemical/Computer/Ceramic Technology/Electronics & Instrumentation/Bio Technology) 100 marks. Total marks are 200. Pharmacy candidates need to prepare for Pharmacology (50 marks), Pharmacognosy (50 marks), Pharmaceuticals Chemistry (50 marks) and Pharmaceuticals (50 marks). B.Sc. Mathematics candidates need to prepare for Mathematics (100 marks), Analytical Ability (50 marks) and Theatrical Ability (50 marks).
