APTET 2017: Exercise exam centre preference at aptet.apcfss.in

Commissioner of School Education, Government of AP has enabled an option for exercising revised preference of examination centre within Andhra Pradesh state.

Over 4,40,518 candidates applied for Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) 2017. The admit cards for the same have been released on the official website. As per the schedule, the exams are scheduled from February 5 to February 15. A total of 15,605 students will not write the TET exam due to limitation of exam centres.

Those candidates will sit for the exam on March 2 from 2:30 pm to 5 pm at the exam centres located in the following seven districts - Chittoor, Kadapa, Anantapur, Kurnool, Nellore, Krishna and Guntur.

The official website said, "To the candidates who have been allotted test centers at Bangalore,Chennai and Hyderabad, beyond their 5 preferences,an option will be enabled for excersing revised preference of examination center within AP State."

HOW TO MODIFY EXAM CENTRE PREFERENCE:

  • Go to the official website
  • Click on the tab, 'Submit Exam Centre Preference'
  • Enter candidate ID and date of birth
  • After submitting the same, candidates can exercise the option

ALLOTMENT OF EXAMINATION CENTRES:

  • 61,453 candidates applied for Chittoor and Kadapa districts: 3,110 candidates are allotted exam centers in Chennai
  • Out of 42,622 candidates who applied for Anantapur district, 9,052 candidates are allotted exam centres in Bangalore
  • Out of 50,808 candidates who applied for Kurnool district, 3,443 candidates are allotted to exam centres in Hyderabad.
