APPSC Group I Main Exams held peacefully

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has decided to conduct Group II examinations on October 15 and 16 as scheduled.

Its confidence stems from the fact it could complete the mains for Group I services which ended on Monday.

The Group I main examinations including the qualifying examination in English began on September 25 and ended on Monday.

The APPSC conducted the examination at five centres in the state including Warangal and Hyderabad in the Telangana region.

Except a stray incident at an examination centre in Warangal where some protestors attempted to barge into the examination hall, the examinations were conducted peacefully by providing a security blanket to the examination centres.
