AUCET from April 27

VISAKHAPATNAM: Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET) 2011 will be held at different places in the coastal districts from April 27 to May 1.

Information on hall tickets, examinations centres and tests schedule are placed on the website www.andhrauniversity.info/doa and candidates who have not received hall tickets can download the same from the website, Director of AU Directorate of Admissions O. Aniel Kumar said.

Andhra University Common Entrance Test 2011 will be held at the following centres: GVP Degree College, MVP Colony and block Nos. 2 and 4 of Dr. L. Bullayya College, in Visakhapatnam; Govt. Degree College for Men, Srikakulam; M.R. College for Men, Vizianagaram; Ideal College of Arts and Science, Vidyut Nagar, Kakinada; Government College, Rajahmundry; Sir C.R.R. College (P.G. courses), Eluru; D.N.R. College, Bhimavaram; Satavahana College, Vijayawada and A.C. College, Guntur.

Integrated programmes

AUCET 2011 tests of five-year integrated programmes in sciences (test No. 501 for MS in applied chemistry, geology, biotechnology, microbiology, mathematics and computing and petroleum exploration); in arts (test No. 502 for MS in economics) and in engineering (test No. 511 for B.E plus M.E./B.Tech. plus M.Tech. dual degree programmes in civil, ECE, EEE, mechanical, CSIT and CSSE) and for test No. 512 for B.Engg. (aircraft engineering) and B.E. (electro-mechanical engineering), which were all originally scheduled to be held on May 15 have been postponed and will be held on May 27 since the EAMCET 2011 has been postponed from May 8 to May 22.

Last date for submitting filled in application forms for these tests, without fine, is May 6, said Prof. Aniel Kumar.

Time table of the Andhra University Common Entrance Test 2011 with details like time and date of each test and the tests to be conducted in Visakhapatnam only are available on the website.
