The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) will release the result for the round 1 of seat allotment for its undergraduate programmes today, August 17. The students who filled the registration form for the counselling can view the seat allotment results from the official website – bhucuet.samarth.edu.in.
The candidates will be able to view the allotment result of round 1 with help of their application number and date of birth.The seat allotment result will be based on the candidates’ CUET UG marks, their merit ranks , the courses and preferences chosen.
To confirm the seat allotment, the students are required to submit the acceptance fee latest by August 20 (5:00 pm). The candidates are expected to complete the admissions and that too on time, any chances of failure to do so, will lead to cancellation of seat allotted.
If a candidate is allotted a seat, they must review with the details like course and location. If the candidate is satisfied with the seat allotment, they can proceed with the next steps. They need to submit the acceptance fee within the given time and confirm their acceptance. If a candidate fails to do so, the allotment will be cancelled. In case the candidate is not satisfied, they can still participate in other rounds. After the payment is complete, the candidates need to prepare their documents for document verification. The process can be done online or offline and information regarding it will be released later.

An allotment letter will be issued on the BHU website after the documents are verified which needs to be downloaded and saved for further. The instructions regarding the reporting to college will be out later and the candidates will be required to visit the allotted college for document verification, orientation and more further.
