Out of the total 16,94,781 students who registered for the matric exam, 8,72,194 are girls and 8,22,587 are boys, the official data stated.BSEB 2024 Exams: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) on February 16 conducted the Class 10 Mathematics exam, with a total of 16,94,781 students registered, the Board has said in an official release.A total of 16,94,781 students were registered to appear for the matric Math exam, of which 8,50,571 candidates (4,38,967 girls and 4,11,604 boys) were registered in the first shift which was held from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm, and a total of 8,44,210 candidates (4,33,227 girls and 410,983 boys) were registered for the evening shift which was held from 2 pm till 5:15 pm.The BSEB board exam for Class 10 Math was conducted at 1,585 examination centers in the state, of which 70 exam centres were in Patna district.BSEB also apprehended 33 persons impersonating students in the Bihar board Class 10 exams. While as many as seven impersonators were caught in the Nalanda district, six were caught in Gopalganj, and five in Jahanabad. Four each were caught impersonating in Bhojpur and Navada. While two each were found in Saran and Saharsa, one each was caught in Jamui, Arwal and Buxar districts.Out of the total 16,94,781 students who registered for the matric board exams, 8,72,194 are girls and 8,22,587 are boys, the official data stated.The Bihar Board officials conducted surprise inspection of examination centers like Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav High School, Punaichak and Devipad Chaudhary (Miller) Inter School, among other measures.“During the review, negligence was found in the examination center Devipad Chaudhary (Miller) Inter School, Patna in following the instructions issued by the committee regarding the conduct of Matriculation Annual Examination, 2024. In the above light, due to negligence and not following the instructions of the committee properly, instructions have been given to remove the Central Superintendent of this examination center and depute another Center Superintendent in his place. Also, the said Center Superintendent has been blacklisted by the Committee from the Center Superintendent and Evaluation Director of the Committee for the next five years,” the official release stated.BSEB will now conduct board exams of various language subjects under Second Indian Language on February 17 in the first shift from 09:30 am to 12:45 pm, and then from 2 pm till 5:!5 pm in the evening shift.
