The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened an online portal for children with special needs (CWSN) to avail of facilities in the 2024 board exams. All CBSE schools are instructed to fill in details of CWSN students appearing in the board exams 2024 and update the status on the ‘Pariksha Sangam’ portal of CBSE – parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in.
The application window which opened on January 19, will remain open to upload documents and fill in the details till January 24.
“Requests sent earlier to the CBSE for availing exemptions by the schools will also be uploaded by the schools on the web during the above-said schedule. No request for exemption will be entertained after 24.01.2024 and in offline mode,” the board added.
“If the CWSN students desire to avail any facilities/exemptions permissible by CBSE during the examinations, the concerned school can request the same through the web portal as it was done last year,” CBSE said.
Schools will have to log in with their login ID and password. The list of CWSN students enrolled in their schools and the facilities permissible to each category of students as per their disability will be shown on screen.
If the students desire to avail any of the facilities mentioned for the CWSN students, the schools will have to select the option and the details will be made available in the CBSE admit cards 2024. The board will also instruct the exam centre superintendent to make necessary arrangements for the CWSN students.
