CBSE announces AIPMT 2012 Prelims Results

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results of the AIPMT Prelims 2012 - The All India PMT/PDT Preliminary Examination held on April 1, 2012.
The results were announced by the CBSE at about 5 PM today, bringing an end to the anxious wait students have been going through the past one week.

The results are available through the following websites:
www.ExamResults.net
www.ExamResults.net/AIPMT

Out of 2,75,742 registered candidates, 2,57,960 candidates appeared in the Preliminary Stage Examination. 30,788 candidates have qualified for appearing in the Final Stage Examination to be held on 13th May, 2012 (Sunday).

The details of category- wise candidates selected are as follows:

UR+OBC: 28,081
UR PH+ OBC PH: 61
SC: 2,272
SC PH: 03
ST: 368
ST PH: 03
Girls (All Categories): 15620
Boys(All Categories): 15168
