CBSE has announced the date sheet for the Class 10th and 12th board exams for 2027, available on their official website, cbse.gov.in, as of November 6, 2026. The Class 10 board exams will take place from February 16, 2027, to March 9, 2027, while the Class 12 exams will be held from February 16, 2027, to April 9, 2027. Additionally, practical examination dates for both classes have been set; they will run from January 1 to February 13, 2027, for all affiliated schools nationwide and internationally. For winter-bound schools, the practical exams are scheduled from November 9 to December 19, 2026.

CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj noted that the date sheets have been released well in advance—101 days ahead of the commencement of examinations—to provide students ample time to structure their preparation strategies.
Furthermore, the board emphasized that the timetable has been coordinated keeping major national entrance examinations in mind. Every effort has been made to conclude the Class 12 board exams ahead of major competitive tests, enabling students to transition smoothly into their entrance preparations.
The board has also structured the evaluation timeline carefully to minimize the prolonged absence of teachers from schools, ensuring that academic workflows for non-board classes remain uninterrupted.
