CBSE Scholarship: The last date to register is October 10 at the official website -- cbse.gov.in.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has begun the application process for the the Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child.
The Board has also started the renewal portal of the scheme for those students who were awarded with this in 2022. The last date to register is October 10 at the official website — cbse.gov.in.
To be eligible for this, candidates should be the only child in the family. They should have cleared Class 10 with 60 percent from a CBSE-affiliated school, and should also be currently in Class 11 from the same school.
CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship: How to apply
Step 1: Visit the cbse.nic.in website
Step 2: Click on ‘Single girl child scholarship X-2023 REG’
Step 3: Then, click on the designated scholarship application link
Step 4: On the new tab, select the type of application — fresh or renewal.
Step 5: Now click on SGC-X fresh application or renewal
Step 6: Fill the application form, upload documents
Step 7: Submit the Single Girl Child Scholarship application, and download the form for future reference,
Under the Single Girl Child scholarship scheme, students will get Rs 500 per month. The monthly tuition fee must not exceed Rs 1,500 per month in Class 10 and 10 per cent enhancement in Class 11 and Class 12.
