CBSE UGC NET 2018 answer keys released

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the answer keys of the University Grants Commission's National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) July 2018 on its official website, the link for which is cbsenet.nic.in.

The UGC NET is conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship both in Indian universities and colleges.

CBSE UGC NET 2018: Steps to check the answer keys

  • Go to the official website, cbsenet.nic.in
  • Login with your ID
  • Enter your application number and password
  • Click on submit
  • Answer keys will be displayed on the screen
  • Download and take print out of the same for future use

Note:

  • All the candidates who wish to challenge the record responses can do so latest by July 27 by paying Rs 1,000
  • In case the candidates want to submit documents in support of the challenge of answer key, they need to mail it on net@cbse.gov.in

CBSE UGC NET results 2018:

  • The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the NET 2018 results on July 31
  • Once the same will be released by the board, all the candidates can check the same at cbsenet.nic.in
  • This year, CBSE conducted the NET in 84 subjects on July 8 at 91 selected NET examination cities spread across the country
  • A total number of 11, 48,235 candidates registered for UGC NET July examinations
  • Meanwhile, the board conducted the re-exam for about 600 students who appeared for it at the Allahabad centre on July 22
  • The re-exam was conducted after students protested due to delay in distributing question paper on July 8

NTA to conduct UGC NET exam:

From December 2018 onwards, the UGC NET exam will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) once in July and then in December.
