The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Chhattisgarh on August 27 will release the seat allotment list against round 1. Candidates who had registered for state quota seats in the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) courses will be able to check the seat allotment result on the official website – cgdme.in.
After getting the allotment in the first round of NEET UG counselling in Chhattisgarh, it will be mandatory to be admission to government medical colleges, but it will not be mandatory to be admission to private medical colleges, government dental colleges, or private dental colleges. However, all the allotted candidates must undergo scrutiny and be eligible for scrutiny. However, candidates who do not admitted to the allotted government medical college will be out of the counselling process.
If the candidate is allotted to a government medical college in round 1 NEET UG counselling, then the candidate will have to physically report at the allotted medical college and get their documents verified by the scrutiny committee.
After successful scrutiny, the candidate must take admission to the allotted government medical college. Candidates willing to upgrade from round 1 to round 2 have to log in to their candidate portal and declare willingness to upgrade with OTP.
After using this option, the previous choice list will be null and void and candidate has to exercise fresh choices with locking and final submission. However, it is to be noted that allotted government medical college in round 1 will not be allotted in round 2 or subsequent rounds of NEET UG counselling.
