CLASS X, XII ICSE, ISC results out on May 17

HYDERABAD : The results of ICSE Class X and ISC Class XII will be announced on May 17.
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, which conducts ICSE examinations, on Friday announced that it would declare the results of both Class X and Class XII at 3 pm on May 17.

Meanwhile, the Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to announce the results of Class X and Class XII Board examinations on May 16 and May 23 respectively. Moreover, the SSC Board is planning to announce the SSC results on May 23. Nearly 13 lakh students had appeared for the SSC exams this year.

A total of 10,61,566 had appeared for the CBSE Class X exams this year across the country, out of which over six lakh students opted for the “Continuos and Comprehensive Evaluation“ (CCE), a new initiative introduced by the Board this year under which there will be schoolbased evaluation of students.

However, there was poor response for CCE in the state as out of the total 18,000 students who appeared for Class X examinations, less than 10 per cent had opted for CCE.

A total of 7,69,929 students appeared for the CBSE Class XII board examinations this year. Of them about 8,000 were from AP.
