Corporate college students excel in Eamcet

VIJAYAWADA: Corporate colleges in the city are upbeat with their students scoring good marks in the Eamcet 2011, the result of which was declared on Wednesday.

Academic in-charge of Narayana College M. Rao Prasad, in a statement, claimed that the college had bagged first position at the State-level in the engineering stream with its student scoring 155 out of 159 marks. Similarly, he said other toppers were Rakesh Lavu (151), Aswini Kiran Myneni (150), Mikeson Panthackal (150), Ayesha Nasreen (147), Mounika R. (144), Ajay Kumar Sunki (143), Sasanka Pothuganti (143) and Anusha Mopuri (143).

Sri Chaitanya

City-based Sri Chaitanya also claimed State first ranks in both medical and engineering streams besides all top 10 ranks and eight of the top ten ranks in the medical and engineering streams respectively.

NRI Academy

NRI Academy secretary and correspondent Alapati Rajendra Prasad and executive director P. Tilak Babu said students of the institute had reaped a rich harvest in the Eamcet 2011 and attributed the good result to a comprehensive curriculum.

Toppers of this college in the medical stream include Sailaja Vinnakota (152), Y. Anudeep (151), G. Hema Sudha (149), N. Sarada (145) and V. Priyanka (145). In the engineering stream, P. Yashwant secured a total of 146 and K. John Navin got 141.

Vignan

Chairman of the Vignan Group Lavu Rattaiah said of the total number of students who appeared for the test from Vignan Junior Colleges, 95 per cent of them had qualified the exam. He attributed the high success rate to quality education imparted in the colleges run by the group and focus on the over-all development of a student.

GUNTUR: Ninety five per cent of the students of Vignan Junior Colleges qualified in the Eamcet whose results were declared on Wednesday. The prospect of achieving top tanks is very bright due to their good performance in the Intermediate examinations, Vignan Institutions chairman L. Ratthaiah stated in a press release. Mr. Ratthaiah, Executive Director P. Koteswara Rao and Zonal Manager G. Kurmanath congratulated the students on their accomplishment.
