Counselling for Eamcet/AIEEE rank holders from June 15

GUNTUR: Counselling for admission into various graduate and post graduate programmes in Vignan University for students who have secured ranks in Eamcet/AIEEE will commence on June 15, Vice-Chancellor V. Govardhana Rao said here on Thursday.

The counselling would provide an opportunity for students who have not written V-SAT, the common entrance test held by the Vignan University, Mr. Govardhana Rao said.

Students who secured more than 80 marks in Eamcet and rank between 20,000-30,000 in AIEEE would have to appear for counselling on June 15, students who secured 60-79 marks in Eamcet/30,000-60,000 ranks in AIEEE would have to attend on June 16. For students who secured 50-59 marks in Eamcet/60,000 above rank in AIEEE, counselling would be on June 17, and for those with 40-49 marks in Eamcet/1 lakh rank in AIEEE counselling would be on June 18. The university has announced 100 per cent tuition fee waiver to those students who secured above 120 marks in Eamcet and below 10,000 rank in AIEEE, and 50 per cent to those who secure 100-120 marks in Eamcet, and rank between 10,000-20,000 in AIEEE.
