CUET UG 2024: List of participating universities in Maharashtra

CUET UG 2024 was conducted for admission to various UG programmes offered at 47 central, 54 state, 37 deemed, 177 private and 6 other universities.

There are multiple universities including central, state and private in Maharashtra that will admit candidates to their undergraduate programmes through the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG). Universities including Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Viswavidyalaya use CUET scores for UG admission

Applicants can visit the official websites of the respective universities and check the eligibility criteria, scholarships they provide and more. Here’s list of CUET UG participating universities in Maharashtra–

Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Viswavidyalaya (MGAHV)

MGAHV is a central university that draws admissions from candidates from across the state and country. The university uses CUET UG scores to admit students in all UG courses. A total of 193 courses are offered by the university at the four levels – diploma, UG, PG and doctoral. The official website of MGAHV is– hindivishwa.org

The university offers many different courses, like M.Ed, B.Ed, B.A., M.A., and MCA in in 11 specializations such as Hindi, English, French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese / Mandarin, film studies/appreciation, Hinduism, women studies, film studies/appreciation, Hindi. These courses focus on subjects like humanities and social sciences, arts, teaching, mass communication, and IT. There are six schools in the university – School of Languages, School of Literature, School of Culture, School of Translation and Interpretation, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Management.

There are several universities in Maharashtra like  Maharashtra State Skills University that do not accept the CUET UG score and conduct their own entrance test for admission in UG courses.
