CUET UG Toppers' Tips: The 19-year old Advait Mishra wants to pursue an MA in History and is interested in writing and research.CUET UG 2024: Advait Mishra aced the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) in 2022 by scoring 800/ 800 in the exam. He is doing a BA History (Honours) at Delhi University’s St Stephens College. He is in his second year now.Nineteen-year-old Mishra scored 92.6 per cent overall marks in Class 10 and 99.4 per cent marks in Class 12. He appeared for Class 12 exams in humanities stream. He selected history, political science, English and economics to appear for in CUET 2022.Speaking to the indianexpress.com, Mishra shares how she prepared for the CUET. Read edited excerpts here:How did you prepare for CUET?I did not take any CUET-specific coaching but took tuition for economics for Class 12 exams. I prepared by myself and relied on some multiple choice question booklets to practice. I did some reading daily, along with a practice paper or two. I studied for around four hours. Rest too was important and evening walks really helped to clear my mind and destress.Was it difficult for you to prepare for CBSE and CUET simultaneously?It wasn’t difficult preparing for CUET and my board exams together. Preparing for boards and CUET simultaneously somewhat helped, since the CBSE Class 12 and CUET curriculum was mostly similar.What books did you refer to for CUET UG?I referred to Sandeep Garg for economics, Arihant and XamIde for history and political science.What would you recommend to CUET UG 2024 aspirants?It is important to be calm and consistent. I would recommend regular and consistent practice to make Class 12 board exam preparation and CUET UG easier.
