DU Admissions 2023: Delhi University (DU) is one of the most popular universities in India, especially when it comes to admissions through CUET UG. As the varsity houses several colleges, students usually give preference to some of the most known ones.
In terms of college choice, Kirori Mal College has emerged as the most popular choice in the varsity as 1,61,533 students have selected this North Campus college. This is followed by Hindu College with 1,58,548 students choosing the institute and Hansraj College is the third most preferred college (1,57,162 registrations).
The list of other preferred colleges is Ramjas College (1,56,068 registrations), Sri Venkateswara College (1,54,375 registrations), Dyal Singh College (1,41,675 registrations), Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College (1,36,349 registrations), Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College (1,35,773 registrations), Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (1,27,633 registrations) and Ramanujan College (1,27,113 registrations).
Also, the most number of students who have applied for admission to Delhi University hail from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), i.e. 1,98,490 students. Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations and Bihar School Examination Board were the second and third most popular boards with 9,413 and 7,880 students respectively.
