Eamcet applicants cross one lakh mark online

The Eamcet applications have crossed the one lakh mark on Thursday, 13 days after the Eamcet website was opened for online submission of forms. Engineering applications crossed 73,000, while medical applications are hovering around 27,000. About 310 candidates registered for both the streams. Maximum number of applicants is from Hyderabad at 25,000.

From this year, Hyderabad has been divided into four zones for the convenience of students. Exam centres will be given in the same zone for all the candidates to cut down travel time. Eamcet Convenor N.V. Ramana Rao said that Eamcet website has seen traffic from across the world.

The last date for submission of forms is March 27. The test will be held on May 10 and the results will be released on June 2.
