Ed.CET results likely by month-end

HYDERABAD: The Education Common Entrance Test (Ed.CET) was held without any problems on Saturday at 457 centres across the State. However, one case of impersonation was reported.

Officials said that 2,13,045 candidates registered for the test in five methodologies - Mathematics, Physical Science, Biological Science, Social Studies and English and 88.78 per cent attendance was registered. The test is held for admission into B.Ed colleges.

The initial key will be released on June 9 and the results are expected to be announced in the third week of June. There are 615 B.Ed. colleges in the State with an intake of 65,000.

The counselling for the admission is expected to commence in the last week of July or first week of August.
