Fee hike likely for pharma, tech, MBA

HYDERABAD : The fee for engineering, pharmacy, MBA, MCA and M.Tech courses is likely to go up by 10 per cent in the academic year 2011-12. The Admissions and Fee Regulatory Committee will discuss the hike in a meeting next week.

At present, the fee for engineering and pharmacy courses is `31,000 per annum for convenor and `95,000 for management seats. The fee for MBA and MCA courses is `27,000 for convenor and `78,000 for management seats. For M.Tech courses it is `57,000 and `1,25,000 respectively.
