GITAM Admission Schedule

GITAM University has announced the schedule of its all-India online GITAM Admission Test (GAT) 2013 for admission into its 10 B.Tech., B. Pharmacy and B. Arch. and 15 M.Tech. programmes for the 2013-14 academic year on its campuses in Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

The online GAT 2013 would be conducted from April 17 to May 8 at 32 cities in different parts of the country and admission counselling would be done at four centers in Andhra Pradesh and at its new campus in Bangaluru, Vice-Chancellor G. Subramanyam said at a press conference here on Saturday.

Notification for GAT 2013 would be issued on December 10 and the last date for receiving the soft or hard copies of filled in applications is March 29, 2013.

Online slot booking for the entrance test could be done between April 5 and 12. The GAT 2013 ranks would be announced on May 20.

The number of online test centres was increased from last year’s 18 to 32 this year, by adding some cities in Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Bihar and other States. Candidates seeking admission into B. Arch. have to qualify in GAT 2013 along with NATA. Scores in both tests would be given equal weightage while considering admission, he said.
