There were mock interviews and group discussions, all aimed at preparing the final year students for the upcoming placement season.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay’s Student Alumni Relations Cell concluded its flagship event, Alumination 2023: A Resplendent Resurgence.
On the first day of the event, students got to visit the Nation Stock Exchange (NSE) which provided many valuable insights about finance and stock markets. The event officially began the following day with numerous workshops from diverse fields, ranging from consultancy to analytics, aimed at providing insights into the non-core world.
Various established alumni who are well versed in the fields joined the students in the event to share their experiences with IIT Bombay students. Also, there were mock interviews and group discussions going on, all aimed at preparing the final year students for the upcoming placement season.
Additionally, IIT Bombay also hosted “Coming Full Circle” with Deepak Satwalekar and Rajeev Pandia, from the batch of 1971 who returned back to their alma matter after 52 years. They hosted an interactive and engaging session with questions ranging from career related guidance to their experience at the institute. This was followed by “Trailblazers”, an interview with Sneh Vaswani, CEO and co-founder of Miko.ai and Ahana Gautam, the CEO and co-founder of Open Secret who shared insights from their entrepreneurial journey inspiring students to step-out in the world of start-ups and helping them in their own journey.
The day ended with “Beyond The Horizon ” which was a session with more than 1400+ students, alumni and staff. The event commenced with a few cultural performances by the students followed by a fireside chat with Vipul Goyal.
Day 2 of the event began with “Alumni Odyssey” with Ravindra Gupta and Suhas Kajbaje which catered to the post graduate students, focusing on the problems faced by PG students, providing guidance for their career. In “Start it Up”, Akshay Saxena and Anupam Sidhant shared their experience and views on entrepreneurship and guided students in their entrepreneurial journey.
Other experts such as Sourabh Chanderiya (Jodi-Anoorabh), Ashwin Srivastava, Ashima Mittal, Sameer Saxena also talked to IIT Bombay students about their experiences, and their journey since graduating.
AMU PhD Entrance Test: Aligarh Muslim University’s PhD entrance exam is scheduled from November 15 to 23.
AIBE XVIII: The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 18 is set to be conducted on December 10. The Bar Council of India (BCI) conducts AIBE. AIBE, held as a national-level certification exam, is conducted for law graduates or for those law graduates in their final year or final semester. The candidates who qualify AIBE will get a certificate of practice (COP). The COP enables candidates to practice in a court of law in India.
ICAI CA November 2023 Exams: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is conducting the CA final and intermediate exams. While a few exams in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh have been deferred amid the assembly elections, all the other exam dates remain the same. The exams slated to be held on November 7 and November 17 in some specific exam centres in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh will now be held on November 19.
