Inter advanced supplementary exams from today

HYDERABAD: The Intermediate Advanced Supplementary Examinations will be held from May 27 to June 4 in two sessions. First year exams will be held from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and the second year from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.

About 9.62 lakh students are appearing for the examinations of which 5.97 lakh are from first year, according to a statement released by the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE). Officials said students are likely to face problems with the old and new syllabus papers being held on same day. So they have to be careful while taking the question paper. The examination superintendents have also been asked to be careful. Students writing Sanskrit Paper-I, English Paper-I, Civics Paper-II, History Paper-II, Economics Paper-II, Commerce Paper-II, Sociology Paper-II, Public Administration Paper-II, Logic Paper-II, Geography Paper-II and Geology Paper-II have to be careful as these papers are being conducted with old and new syllabus.
