Inter results in May first week - Junior Inter results before April 30th

Results of Senior Intermediate examinations will be declared in the first week of May, Board of Intermediate Education announced. The Junior Inter results will be released likely next week while the Advance Supplementary Examinations will be held from May 25th to June 1th , Ramshankar Naik, Secretary of Board informed media on Monday.

This means the Board plans to complete the holding of advanced exams a day before the ‘Appointed Day’ i.e. formation day of Telangana state. This was planned to avoid any confusion on how to conduct the (advanced) exams in two states, a scenario SSC Advanced Supplementary is likely to face.

Inter Board has confirmed these dates after a review meeting held with Salahuddin Ahmed, Advisor to the Governor, ESL Narasimhan here on Monday. The review meeting was attended by Principal Secretary, School Education Department, Commissioner, Intermediate education along with Secretary, Board of Intermediate education and others.

The advisor reviewed the progress of work of valuation of Intermediate Public Examination answer sheets. The Secretary informed him that preparation of results is at the advanced stages and compilation and bubbling work is underway.

The advisor has also reviewed the admissions in the Government Junior Colleges for the academic year, 2014-15 and opening of the Government Junior Colleges and directed the Commissioner, Intermediate education to enhance the enrolment of the students in the Government Junior Colleges by taking advance steps by identifying the eligible students in the areas of the location of Government Junior Colleges.
