Inter results likely on April 20 or 21

Intermediate results are likely to be released on April 20 or 21 if the valuation process goes on smoothly and as planned.The examination process that started on March 2 ended on Wednesday. The practical examinations were conducted from February 3 to 25. The BIE Secretary, M. Subrahmanyam, said that valuation of the scripts was on. This year 1,11,48,726 scripts will be valued, an increase of four per cent from last year. Despite the high number of scripts, Mr. Subrahmanyam is confident that the process will be completed as per schedule.
The valuations of answer books commenced from March 9 and will be conducted in five spells at 25 different spot valuation camps including two additional camps at Hyderabad and Vijayawada. Mr. Subrahmanyam said there is no shortage of examiners and strict measures have been taken to ensure that only 30 scripts were given per day to each examiner - 15 scripts in the forenoon session and 15 scripts in the afternoon.
The number of scripts to be scrutinised by each scrutiniser will be 150 per day.
